As evidenced by the tightly clenched nictating membrane on the adult, feeding these ravenous chicks is not a job to be taken lightly. Although I'm not sure that the thin nictating membrane would offer much protection when you consider the just how sharp those juvenile beaks are. "It's your turn to feed the babies dear".

Love the "behavior" shots you get.  Up in Tallahassee, won't make it south to Tampa this trip.

Ron, no my sister moved her to Tally to be closer to her.  Nice place in a senior apartment complex. Been managing to get out for pix though today was catch up on processing day.
