I still need to get a template for 120 film for my scanner. I'm using an epson 4490 flatbed. I need to figure out the proper setting to scan. I found a makeshift template to scan one frame.

Velvia 50, 90mm lens, 1/125 f8, polarizer.

The film looks good, I'm not sure the scan settings I'm using is any good.

Thanks all.

Yeah, there is a movement. Even in the theaters, some of the biggest movies have been made with film. JJ Abrams has made a large commitment to film. See here. And Kodak lists all the films of recent that was on film, including the movie Steve Jobs, lol.

Me, I will still shoot digital. This is just a fun part of shooting. I've used MF before, but never owned one. So, the price was right, it a nice difference. And it gets me into MF. Maybe one day, I will get a digital MF, but for name, film is fun addition for me.

Thanks, Dennis.

Nice shot, Dennis.

Go back to film?  Me?  I don't think so.  Angela feels the same way about darkrooms that my parents did:  you aren't going to use potentially unhealthy chemicals in a small space.  No bleepety bleep bleep way!

Me:  Yes, dear!

She is a really good sport about my off-camera flash activity, so I can live with digital.  :)
