One of the benefits of very high mountain, is that you can use a 105mm lens to do a pano.

Yes, I had a good vacation after the wedding. Went to Estes park and Rocky Mountain NP. Then over to Aspen and maroon bells. Great week. Then, pikes Peak highway open up early do folks can go up and shoot the sunrise lady weekend. Had a photo gig on Wednesday. Been a fun few weeks.

I like it, Dennis.  

 

I have the Sigma 105/2.8, so it's nice to find out that you can use a macro lens for that kind of shot.

 

You know what?  After seeing how good the boulders looked in colour, I'm curious as to what the colour version of this one would look like?  :)

You can see the thin area that is purple, that is the part a sky line or UV filter take out.
