Talked to the guy who watches over it. City turned down a deal to sell property to Marriott. Pier Owner can not afford to fix it. right now, no concrete plans. It has gone down hill since last March.

The city will not give access for the Marriott to build a resort there. It is a small space. The landowner cannot afford the $600K to repair.
