When I PP a picture in LR now the original pic that I PP'd disappears and only the edited crop of the pic stays. What do I need to do to keep the original picture also? It used to stay when I originally started using LR, but something has changed and I can't find out what it was. Thanks, Jeff

The original should still be there.  When you look in the folder you imported to, is it changed there?

Your original file is always there as you're just editing a virtual image. Scroll to the bottom of the left hand  pane and you'll see you edit history where you can scroll back.

If you want several edits you can create virtual copies to work on - or - export the file when you're happy and start over with the original.
