Wow, one line of work I would never want to do!! The responsibility is massive and there are no second chances! And, you have to deal with Stressed Out people all day... No thanks.!!

Because I agree with Art, I'd like to suggest that there is a 4th mistake: agreeing to become a wedding photographer! Thanks, but no thanks!

All of the above,
Not realising your going to be working 12-14 hour days,
Your also going to be working with the socially unskilled,
watch for the jilted one at the reception, a friend of mine had 12 rolls of film stolen,
at least we can just have the cards in our pocket now days
