All good PJ

Just finished, everything looked the same, took 2 hours,

haven't found out how to do all the new tricks yet,

But have to say, system is just flying, maybe twice as fast as before

I heard this one fixed much of the previous bugs much like iOS 9 has really refreshed my iPhone 5s vs iOS 8 that I never warmed up to. Even 9 had some bugs with a quick update to 9.01 but that's the world we live in today. :D

Downloaded (6GB on a 6 to 9Mbps line which is never fun) and installed on the iMac - it is flying.

Much quicker than Yosemite and some nice little extras.

Have to agree way faster!

It will take my quite a while to get my head around the other bits, I had a really great converter for length temperature etc on the mission control, now gone, don't really no how mission control works yet

You folks are spreading encouraging news, so far.  However, we're so wrapped in renos that I may wait until end of next week.  Lots of time for more feedback!  :)

I'm hearing very good things about it.

The biggest complaint, so far, is the long time for downloading, and Apple suggests that so many people are hitting the servers at the same time.  I was going to download next weekend, after we get the flooring complete, but am thinking that waiting two weeks may result in a faster download.  It would also mean that our renos are that much closer to completion!

OK, I bit the bullet.... I am now current and Running EL CAPITAN!

Took a while to download and then load, surprised it required about 20 minutes!  However, I am running smoothly so far.  No apparent issues yet.

Keep you post it if I notice something negative.  Seems faster.  That is good, nice, hopefully, here are no compatibility issues.

Good to hear that, Art.

I made the change just over 2 weeks ago.  No issues, so far.  When we get further along with renos, I'm going to book an Apple 1 to 1 session, to get a full overview of the new bells and whistles.
