Someone is selling two Nikon F-90X SLR Film Camera and Nikon F801S 35mm SLR Film Camera Bodies in good condition and fully working. Is it worth a punt?

I forgot to add they are £25 the two.

The viewfinders on the N90s and N8008s are as good as the F3HP finder, large relief for eye-glasses. These models are the US version of the F90x and F801s. I still use my N8008s, which used to be a digital camera. The color back on the DCS200ci died, and I put an MF20 databack on the N8008s.

If you like to shoot film, well worth picking up. I also like the N70- very quiet film advance. I use mostly manual focus lenses on these, although the N70 works with the AF-S 50/1.8 that came with the Df.

Nikkor-SC 5cm F1.5. And maybe 100 or so other Nikkor lenses. Maybe 60 of those are on Nikon cameras right now.

I have just bought an F75 with 28-80mm Nikkor lens for £39.95.

Decided not to buy the F(N) 75, bought an F(N) 80 with 35 - 80mm lens for £32.

I think you'll like the N/F80. I had one from 2001-2006 and probably put at least 200 rolls through it. It's a very capable body. I even got the MB-16 grip so it could use AA batteries and not the expensive CR123's.

Still shooting DX digital and don't plan on going full frame.

D7100, D7000, D40, Canon M50, and a few 35mm film bodies
