Thanks, Dennis.

No built in battery powered meters should mean it's going to be affordable. Providing this is the case.

Nikon D-3300 18-55 VRII, 1971 Nikkor 135mm Q-Auto, Tamron 70-300 AF. Not much! But I'm working on mastering what I do have.

Very cool but the FM3a was introduced in 2001 and was in production until 2006 so its really only been 11 years since the last MF manual film camera.

I wonder what mount they will use most likely a Pentax K mount or Nikon F mount I can't see them creating a whole new mount. Kenko had a new F mount camera a few years ago in Japan only I tried to get one but they were too expensive to buy third party.

Thanks for posting, Dennis.

I wonder what their market research is telling them?  My guess is that they're targeting that niche market, who thinks that film is so cool.

Sadly, I won't be buying one.  I couldn't afford the on-going cost of having someone else develop my film; and Angela would boil me in oil at the mere suggestion of a dark room in our town house.

Ultimately, the market place will have the final say on this.

I have a very nice F6.... not manual....but it will do.

I am, however, curious and wish them luck....but.....
