I like Vernon.

Located at the North End of Okanagan Lake, modern day Vernon is home to just over 40,000 people.  Winters aren’t too cold; and summers are toasty warm.  When the weather gets too hot, folks can go swimming in Okanagan Lake; or drive north to Enderby and go tubing down the Enderby River.

Thanks for looking everyone.  :)

What's the cost of living?

Nice place, good shots.

Thanks, Dennis.

Many thanks for the kind words, all.

Vernon is a really nice place.  One of my closest friends grew up in Armstrong, a few miles north of Vernon.  So, I got to know the town a bit.

Dennis, I don't have any hard numbers.  However, when we did our road trip years ago, we noticed that prices in BC were generally higher than in the rest of Western Canada.  Still, gas prices are lower than in Metro Vancouver.  :)
