I was washing dishes and looking out the window and I see this guy sitting in the neighbors tree!  MAN!!

I run, get my camera, slowly open the screen door off the deck ... and fire this off!  Darn deck umbrella obscured my vision. I knew it would be tight.  So, I inch my way out ... start to lift my lens ....

Sees me an instantly flies off!  :(

Wow, that sucks!

Anyway, I did get this one shot.  So close!  I think he was fixated on a squirrel.  Lucky squirrel, I came out.

Yeah, deck umbrella, like we haven't heard that photographer excuse before, you got your thumb in an otherwise nice shot.    :D  :P  B)

Is she sitting on one leg?

Thanks, Dennis.

Yes, that is my story, an UMBRELLA!

Yes, sitting on one leg.  This is one of a breeding pair that has been flying in my hood all summer.  I see them and hear them, but they seldom land near the yard.  Hindsight, probably should have left it alone to see what it was up to.
