Well, never say never.

This can quickly change based on many market factors.

Right now, they are in great shape!

More so if they come out with a simply killer mirrorless and a knock out phone camera!

Think Nikon has done an excellent job on the product line and it shows. Plus I think they right sized and concentrated on their core.

As far as mirrorless I think they have lost a lot of ground so they need to hit one out of the park at the right price. The Nikon one was expensive so I hope they dont follow that pricing model and follow the D500/850 and 200-500VR pricing model.

But the D500 and D850 have really built a strong foundation for the future. Im curious to see the D750 replacement and the new P900 replacement.

Jim,

I think they do very well with the D5.  It is an amazing camera.

I see them everywhere, so people are dropping down some serious coin to own one.

Funny have yet to see a D5 all have been D850 and D500. I think the D5 is not a huge seller compared to the D500/850. A guy Ive come to know who works in the camera retail said 95% of his high end sales are 500/850s.

Now could be economics of the area I live in. Sad to say the diehard bird photogs I know here in Memphis are all C users. :(
