My cabinet had gotten a little cluttered over that last while. Decided a clean up was in order with the acquisition of an MD-12 most graciously given to me by PlanetNikon member Arlon.

Overall with doors open...

Attached File  01_cabinet.jpg   637.56KB   1 downloads

Top shelf... F80 with grip, F90, kits lens, an N2000 (just because), three EMs (one is in the CF-11 case), 3 FE2s (two in chrome - one of which is in the box, and one black), and a Nikkor AF 75-300mm f4.5/5.6 or something like that.

Attached File  02_cabinet_top.jpg   628.45KB   0 downloads

Middle shelf... (left to right, front to back) F, FM chrome on an MD-11, FM black, F w/Ftn, FE black, F2 (from PlanetNikon member Lightmeter (Bill)), FE chrome on an MD-12, and F3HP on an MD-4 and sporting it's "new" MD-12.

Bottom shelf... an EM with MD-E, SB-E and all the original Series E lenses in all-black, another EM, some Series E second generation lenses, a black FE, a black FG with MD-14, an AF-S Nikkor 35mm f1.8 G DX lens, and 4 Nikkor manual focus lenses.

Does no one else find it sad that they're all just sitting on shelves and not being used.

Yeah that would be sad, but thankfully that is not the case. The F2 has a roll of film in it at the moment and the black FM recently had a roll of Ilford pulled out after exposing. More importantly, I do ensure that all of the cameras in my display are still fully functional and able to produce a well exposed roll of film. I have a spreadsheet where I keep track of all my acquisitions and what their status is, including how many rolls of film I have put through them. Currently there are six different bodies that I have obtained that have had at least one roll of film put through. I did not include five cameras that were my main shooting bodies so technically there are 11 in the cabinet that are good to go. The rest are waiting for their turn.
