Hi,

My name is Jason. I'm from Toronto and just joined. I'm an amateur photographer using a Nikon 3100.

I'm interested mainly in wildlife photography (mammals, reptilians, amphibians, birds, fish), nature photography (landscapes, mushrooms, flowers, insects, etc.), street art (mainly graffiti, murals, and sculptures).

I'm also interested in macro photography but have yet to try it.

Looking forward to learning a lot in this forum!

Jason

==========================================================
Digital: D610 backed up by a D1x.  Quoted from an unknown source by a fellow planeteer, "Never get rid of a working D1x." I've got to agree.

Film: N90s, F3, F100, F4s, C330s. A few lenses.

Why film photography? I like shooting with the equipment. 6x6 Velvia slides from a C330 have an appeal all their own.

Why automated 35mm/Digital cameras? Event photography is about capturing moments. It often requires quick response. Well done automaton can be your friend or your enemy. It all depends on knowing what it can and can't do. "A man's got to know his (camera's) limitations." paraphrasing Dirty Harry...

Hard to say.  They have a much better team than a few years ago.  :)

The Maple Leafs going to knock off the Caps?

Well, you never know.

They are the best LEAF team to hit the ice in decades.  I have been a Leaf Nation HATER for decades now, until these playoffs.  I just took out my Leaf jersey and will wear it publicly-nerdily, again!  They have spent a fortune on Upper Management, Coaching and Players.  Works for me.  This is a Rookie, Totally Green team!!  And as of this post, the series is tied 2-2.

Impressed me.  They simply don't give up.  That is what I love about them.

If they beat Washington.... the other teams will be sweating if they have to play them!  These guys want to win.

I LOVE THAT!

Jason.......

If you haven't already noticed, look at the top right corner of the Forum window.

There is a Button there below the SEARCH FIELD called, "VIEW NEW CONTENT".

When you hit that, look on the LEFT HAND SIDE of the window and notice you can customize your new content viewing experience.

Just thought I would mention that.
