I would have posted this yesterday, but parking for our Remembrance Day service (sorry, no images this year) is always at a premium, so we left quite early.  :)  :)

Good article and some amazing images.  I was late in announcing my purchase because of the software issue, at one point I was going to return it.  However, I can live with the current options.

 

I was also toying with a refurbed D5 from Nikon with almost no clicks on it! I played with the D850 at the Nikon booth and decided to go that route.  I was pretty much sold on it anyway. The only thing making me hesitate was the FPS rate and the cost of the grip, vs a D5.

 

I much prefer the heftier MP file and that pretty much sealed the deal.  The sensor and IQ on this thing is out of this world, words can't describe it. I wish I could post more images that reflect this, and I will, soon enough.
