I shoot a lot of sports and shooting HS wrestling is an assignment that relies on luck. I happen to be in the right location off the mat somewhere and wrestlers happen to turn my way. The guys sometimes show a lot of facial expression when under stress. They often are on their backs turned away from the camera. Butt shots don't count. All photos were captured at 128,000, 3.2, 1/640, manual with 70-200. There were eight mats and I had 5 teams to cover. That means moving mat to mat and having to ID both wrestlers in each bout.
