I just read on Nikon Rumors that Amazon has cancelled all pre-orders for this lens due to unavailability. If anyone on PN has their order with Amazon for this lens youd better re-order! Jeff

Seems to have disappeared on the Amazon site.  The good news for NPS is, it would appear to be a quick delivery! So, it looks like NPS is getting faster service from Nikon but you have to order through your favorite LCS.

NPS has no try out copies still!  This won't end until there is quantity available.

For me, still caught between a rock and a hard place.  I am not dropping $5K to buy something I can't try first.

Yeah, I think the bottleneck is the Fresnel lens. And Nikon not  understanding their base and demand very well. Like normal.

Thanks, Dennis.

Well, what else is new.  All lost revenue.  People get sick of waiting and the competition doesn't sit still.
