Now that we have a bit over 400 users I think it would be neat to see the demographics of the bodies being used. Nothing more than total curiousity on my part.... B) So what is the main body you use. Some of you have more than one but just vote once for the main body you use. I'll come back to do some totals in a few days/weeks. Feel free to add any comments replies as well.......

The idea was to choose your "main" body. In other words...... which do you use the most? If you want to look at it another way..... whay are you here? Which is the body you are most participating with? Many of us have multiple bodies... no doubt there.... but I just want to get the "most commonly used" for each member. Not an exact science....... but it's just to get a picture (no pun intended) of the makeup of out wonderful group.

I am surprised to see in your poll Luis that, as I write this, if you add together all the D50's, 70's and 80's they still do not quite equal the D200! At the rate D50 users were joining us I cannot believe that is the case. Like you I am surprised so few members have voted. Are there only a few like Jazz who are prepared to admit they use a D50? Joking apart it is a very good camera, as is the 70 and 80, so lets have a few more votes and see what the real spread of cameras across the membership is, or you may find we get the wrong ideas in catering for your interests. Dave Whiteley

Luis,

I think I agree with one of the previous posters, it would be nice if PlanetNikon polls could be made multiple choice because I think it would give a much better idea of peoples interests and equipment.

I note with the D80 you got very few votes, but I think James has just had one for Christmas so I presume he had already voted for the D50. I cannot believe at the rate the D50 users were joining a while ago there are so few of them, because some people use more than one camera. People usually put down their most expensive camera as first choice, but many more may have the same cheaper model as their backup. Therefore this camera may be even more numerous or popular than all the others, so deserving of it's own forum.

I noted the same with one of the past polls asking what photographic subject you were interested in. This only gave one option, whereas many of us have more than one field of interest. It is conceivable therefore that the subject arousing the greatest interest may be the majorities second preference but it will not get the coverage it deserves if this is based on "your most popular photographic subject" in a poll.

I don't know if we are able to provide multiple-choice polls on this site Darrell? But if we were I think it would be a good idea to have them in future.
