The first line in my post says, "Curious to see what you think....".

All I could say about it before I bought it was, "Dammit, Tamron!  Hurry up and send me one!" :D

PJ,

I am full of anticipation!  I played with it at the show and the "WOW" factor is HUGE!

I went into the LCS to enquire aboout the 2 I have on order and they said........ "IF I am lucky.... AUGUST ... ", <_< kill me now!!!

Tough decision to make, I can probably get one faster from the USA.... but the warranty is substantially less than Canada.  6 years over here!! vs 2, I think.

The LCS guy said what every comes into the store is all spoken for, no Demo, no anything... comes in..goes out FAST!  Everyone picks up immediately.   No kidding, they fear it will be sold if they don't!

I've been kicking myself for not ordering 4 from the git-go.  I could have sold the other 3 in a heartbeat and made a tidy sum to boot.
