About 5 weeks ago I came down hard on my right foot and jammed my knee.  Off it for three weeks, then I catch a whopper of a cold a week ago...  Dropped Deb at the store and headed to Montezuma.

This nest is unique in that it has been occupied by two males and one female for several years.  It looks like the two males are sitting there today, which is unusual for this time of year for them to be at the nests.

Felt good to get out. Missed out on seeing the Sand Hills.  There were a lot of birds on the Main Pool and I have more pictures to work on.

Thanks, Dennis.

Hi Cliff, glad you are up and about again, Great shots, that sure is a strange arrangement with the eagles that you mention, i've never heard of that occurring as you describe it.

Ron, this trio has been the subject of discussion at the Center for some time.  No explanation has been given and then to find them in the nest this early in the season adds to the mystery.
