Experiment

Used a 24mm lens on a Nikon D5.

My goal here was to simply capture the image without focusing .... inside the DoF range.

Nikkor 24mm f1.8G

f14

1/2000s

ISO800

What do you think?

Over all image, composition etc.

ADJUSTED as suggested.....

or maybe.... a Square Crop?

Nice capture Art... but I think the fact so much is in focus kind of detracts from the main subject... even cropping to only the hawk .. maybe.

Peter has a point. I kept looking at it and, the post is light-colored and it kind of gets in your face. I started looking for the landing place. Or crop most of the post. If you have good detail in the bird, let's see it close up.

OK, I have taken the pole out, but that centers the bird.

I am not crazy about that but happy to hear your opinions.

Interesting experiment.
