The woman reading the news on the wireless this morning said we were due a meteor shower tonight - so - out I went with my camera, hopes, dreams and a few crossed body parts.

The clouds rolled in and we didn't see a single meteor  <_<

I did manage a short sequence that stacked quite well - with a few gaps just to form one of those itches you can't reach.

I also ran a normal exposure...

Afterwards I just let the camera run for a while then crushed the frames into a time lapse...

What lens did you use BP?

Jim

The stack and the time lapse frames were taken with the 18-55mm (you're gonna love this lens by the way) shot at 18mm - f4 - 400iso - 20sec.

The wider shot was taking with my Samyang 12mm f2 at f5.6 - 800iso - 30sec.

I worked on one of the last frames from the sequence just as the moon started to peak from behind the foghorns...

I wouldn't be too disappointed, Robin.

Those shots are very well done.  Nice subject matter and sky.  :)
