The frame rate on the D5 reminds me of this YouTube video.

Reading some reports they are saying the D5 is so much faster than anything they have ever shot with now not sure how true or is it hype but the buffer is huge compared to the D4 and it has a detachable eye puece wonder what accessories NIKON has planned.

I will try to find that link again on the D5 speed.

Art, my trip to Gatorland with you was my last trip there, although I'll probably go there later this winter, love to photograph the cattle egrets in breeding plumage. I'm going to the Venice rookery later this month with some folks from up North and as I said earlier, some eagle photography.

Post'em when You gottem, Ron.....eagerly looking forward to seeing them.

Thanks for posting this.  There was a second video right after the video that you posted, and it was just as funny.  It would have been a lot of fun, participating in those.

Finally, they nicely sum up my thoughts on this.  :)

I have been looking and reading. I am thinking the D5s is waiting to be marketed. I can imagine a 15 FPS rate. The D5s piggy bank has been established.

A friend of mine ordered a D5 last week. He shoots mostly landscapes, but wants the high ISO capabilities of the D5.

This Nikon D5 beats up new Canon flag ship model Canon 1DX Mk II. Good job Nikon once again!

A very expensive camera but I'm sure for the working pro it will be easier to swallow the price.

Yikes!   :o

I can buy a sailboat for less money that.

Boat vs camera?  Hey, I already made that choice last year.  Tossed in home renos for variety.  :)
