Mark,

See if you can reclaim some wood somewhere and make a crate.  The more weathered, the more interesting the prop!  Put your handyman skills to the test!

I won't guarantee results, but that's the plan.  Rona and Home Depot only have fresh wood scraps.  A few people on Project 52 suggested antique stores.  So, we're going to check out a Re-store-it outlet on Thursday.  :)

Well done, Phil.  If you have her contact information, I'll be she would really appreciate a copy of this.  :)

Nice shot, Don.

That said, you deserve extra kudos for the unconventional shot.  :)

This is certainly "thinking outside the box".  I have never seen it shot from this angle.  Nice work, Don.  :)

"I think that we do, actually.  I worked with Royal Canadian Sea Cadets for several years.  More recently, I've been volunteering alongside several Millennials.  Although they face challenges that are different from those that we faced, I think that the kids are gonna be alright."

I tend to get discouraged working in the school system and see how some kids act. Even though they aren't my kids, I worry about them and feel sorry for them because their homelife is for cr@p.

I know what you mean.  The kids with problems at home were the hardest to work with.  But even with challenges like that, programs like Sea Cadets or Scouts have helped many of them become good citizens.

That said, I agree that there are enough examples to give credence to what you and Leviathan are saying.  :)
