Well as I mentioned some how my table top tripod has walked away.   So I had to use my bag as a support not the best. Second had all kinds of WB issues and being no RAW on the P900 I struggled with it and shooting at ISO 800 the NR was obtrusive can not wait for the P900 replacement with RAW but still the P900 is fun and versatile but it has limitations.

Nice, Jim. I expect the P900 follow-up model to feature RAW (as with the B700).

Jim,

It is not so much an issue of WB as it is volume and balance of light.

Near the grip, you do not have enough light saturating the background. My guess is the light came from the top right.

This is where a white foam core tent comes in very handy. You can buy these sheets at a manageable size at the dollar store, I find them a must for this type of shot!

The light was top front and pretty much center its the light kit Peter sent use.

Might be the angle not sure but I struggled with the WB.

Have to try the white foam Art thanks.

The shadow has a green tint, the correction or a Florescence light?

Thanks, Dennis.

Can you adjust WB? Set it to Auto. Let the sensor figure it out.

LED lights that is what I had issues wonder if it was a reflection off the half case.

I had it set to auto but being jepg only not many options in post processing. I should have used custom WB.

Was their any other artificial or daylight in the space when you were shooting ?

Two different light temperatures can cause problems...

Good points raised by all.  That said, nice work, Jim.

I'm going to add to Art's point about the white foam core sheets.  While they are good for building a tent, they are also worth their weigh in gold as flash fill cards.  They can be cut to custom sizes, and they're as cheap as all get out.  :)

Looks as though it was in a tent/high key enclosure of some kind. I would  scrimmed with a lot more light in a seamless cove. Then just added silver and white reflectors to raise lights to specific spots. But at the end of the day a shot is very subjective, and we all will see it differently.
