Traveling in Arizona for over a week, I had the opportunity to shoot a great deal of the Flora and Landscape images. This is a shot in Central Eastern Arizona from Highway 77. These are Saguaro Cactus in Bloom. The mountains in the background with the varying colors... adds some contrast to this scene.

Camera: D4s, HH, W/-24-70mm Nikkor. PP Adobe Photoshop.

Enjoy, Don

Very nice shot, Don.  There is something about deserts that appeals to me.  Can't quite put a finger on it, but they fascinate me.

The closest thing to a "desert" that Canada has in the Southern Okanagan Valley, about a 5 hour drive from here.   :)

Peter, Bill & Mark:

Thanks guys for stopping by and your remarks. Arizona has a very diverse ecology from Pines and Furs in the high mountains to Cactus in the lower elevations. Plenty of wildlife too.
