CA Lupin:

The countryside here in N. CA is covered with wildflowers... one of my favorite subjects for photographing.

I brough out a a Vintage Nikkor 105 mm Micro I purchased in Okinawa in 1973. That lens still produces excellent images and color rendition...... and works just fine on my D4s.

Enjoy, Don

Very nice, Don.  The flower provides a nice contrast to the background.  :)

Thanks for your comments. It was quite a joy to attach that old 105... I bought it back in 73 and used it many times with my old F2. If you focus an Ants head, his torso is out of focus, quite the Micro Lens in that day and, today as well.

Thank you for your remarks. I agree with you on the colors, I enjoy them very much. Of course in close-up work the DOF can make for some very interesting out-of-focus color presentations.
