ln the Houston area, November is model railroad month. Layouts are open to the public. This one is G scale, 1/24 scale. The trains go through walls and into all the rooms on the 2nd floor of the house. l estimate the trains, electronics, controls, scenery, and other materials to build the layout cost more than the house. l was going to ask the owner which cost more but forgot.

Nice series, Bill.

I got a kick out of seeing the locomotives for the White Pass & Yukon railroad.  For many years, they operated in Alaska, BC and the Yukon Territory.  My wife briefly worked for their trucking division when we lived in Northern BC.  :)

Guys,

Check out Rod Stewart's train set up. Only a Rock Star can do this on a grand scale.  It is really unbelievable.

Thanks for sharing that link Art. l didn't know Rod Stewart had a model railroad. My last name is Stewart, so l could be one of his relatives. And that means l should inherit it from him :)
