I am interested in finding out the highest ISO I can set on D800e and still see no noise in photo.
This camera is not used much for capturing sports images. I use it to take team photos and in low light non-action photos. I know someone out there in PN land has done the experimentation, would you share with me, please? Thanks

With a common output size uncropped, I'd be very comfortable at ISO 2400 and willingly go higher to ISO 3200 with the D800E. In a pinch, ISO 6400 can be used.
The key is the dark tone of the image. If you have a dark image, there is not a lot of information in the shadows so you are more limited than on a midtoned image. My limit is ISO 1600 or lower in a darker image.
Here are a couple of samples from a D800E at ISO 6400.
The first is the as shot image. The second is a tight crop - near 100%.
