Well it was a cold but sunny day so we took winter to the Tennis court so she could run and chase the tennis ball off her leash.
Well I took around 50 or so pictures and well they stunk! Some how I thought a shutter speed of around 1/320 would stop action of her jumping and running. Well I was wrong and after doing some reading most seem to recommend 1/800 and north when shooting dogs at play. Was I off and the slight blurry photos prove it. here I was excited and I blew it wasted a great sunny day(well I did learn something ) that was made to shoot at 1/800 and faster with a kit lens and low ISO.
As far as the AF it did well it would lock on and follow well of coarse a faster prime or zoom would do a bit better but again I would have had no issue getting 1/800 should have read up on dog shooting before I did this.
Live and learn.
Here are a few from my OM-D EM-5 and the 14-42R II next time I will do better plus Winter loves it so there will be more days.
