range finder bliss.

a range finder F, ok sort of.

In the world of range finders there are the Leica and Zeiss Contax every thing else is just a copy or are they?

Ok I admit I kind of believed the press. and have fallen for the Lure of the Leica and used a Contax.

but I have wanted an S2 for a long time..no serious Nikon collection could be complete with out one.

what can I say this is a beautiful camera.

the lenses are legendary, "discovered" and acclaimed by the photo journalist stationed in Japan during the Korean War.

the worlds first 50mm f1.4 and the super fast 28mm f3.5. Leica only had a 28mm f6 and Zeiss a 28mm f8.

Ok getting long winded here. photo time.

Mine came with the 28mm f3.5.

I very nearly bought a S1pro years back - wish I had as it was cheap at the time and I could almost retire on it now.

Congrats and keep the images coming.

I really like the guy on bicycle shot. I sure wouldn't mind having a S2.

It's actually a better camera to use Leica M3.

I know the camera gods will strike me with lightning.
