However, for simple editing, I would recommend Photoshop because you can work with colors just the way you do with still photos.
That said, if you want to get into a professional editing environment, Resolve is great because even if you don't want to get into color correction, you can do your edit in Resolve and then hand it off to a colorist with zero fuss.
