You know the score - day off, out with the dog, camera slung over my shoulder.

Todays weapon of choice was the K30 and 50mm

Thanks

I'm experimenting a little more with LR of late even though I've been using it for a while. I'm trying to get a balance I'm happy with between the natural look I usually aim for and a bit of drama. Perhaps it just boils down to subject but I haven't decided yet. Expect a few more 'styles' while I fiddle.

Outstanding IQ

Any sharper, it would be scratching my screen!

As aways, very inspiring

Never been able to get the shot of my brother in Law's wheat or barley crop either, in particular, I like your focus point and DOF of the grain!

I like the house. All are nice though.

Thanks, Dennis.

I haven't been able to fall in love with my 50mm f1.8D since moving to digital but the old Pentax 50mm f1.7 is a proper little joy of a lens and since getting the K30 it has rarely been off the front.

Used it all day today - I'll post some picture in a bit.

There doesn't seem to be much about, searches for examples usually bring up the 35 ART.

It does sound astonishing and while not as good as an OTUS its massively cheaper and AF to boot....but would I put one on the K30 or my D300s?
