look up "S3M" someday, I think 300 were made. Half-frame Rangefinder camera with high-speed motor drive. The half-frame was used to speed up the FPS.


Nikkor-SC 5cm F1.5. And maybe 100 or so other Nikkor lenses. Maybe 60 of those are on Nikon cameras right now.

I remember reading about these models made for the Norweigian Police.

Product Information

The FM2 Body only Film Camera is an advanced semi-professional, single lens reflex (SLR) camera. This manually operated film camera has a mechanical shutter with a top shutter speed of 1/4,000 seconds plus bulb for long exposure. The Nikon FM2 camera has a top flash sync speed of 1/250 seconds. The FM2 Body only Film Camera is operable without batteries and only requires one 1/3N battery to power the light meter. This film camera has three interchangeable finder screens. The Nikon FM2 camera enables continuous shooting of up to 3.2 frames per second (fps). The FM2 Body only Film Camera has dimensions of 90 mm X 142 mm X 60 mm (H X W X D) and weighs 540g.
