I've had this camera sitting in my display cabinet for a number of years, and with the recent interest in 3D movies and TV, have got the itch to put a roll of film through it. It appears to be in pristine condition. Anyone have any experience with stereo cameras?

No, but I love the shot. What great red tones on the background!

Sorry... it has been a long time since I seen one, but I never played with it. I have seen a pano 35mm camera in action, that is pretty cool.

Thanks, Dennis.

Thanks, Mike. Black acrylic base with red posterboard background, shot in my light tent.

Been playing with the new Fujifilm Real 3D W1 which is class. The latest generation 3D TV's that need glasses to work are dead before they even start.

I've seen it done -- a friend of mine was doing this as part of a research project -- a pair of D2x bodies, 17-55/2.8 lenses, a tripod with a stereo rig, and a PocketWizard setup that triggered both cameras at once. The PS process is pretty amazing -- put those 3D glasses on and you'd swear you could grab the object off the screen. If you get the film scanned or scan the images yourself, you can do some amazing stuff. I don't know about the camera itself, but I'll bet experimenting would be a blast. Don

Digital: D610 backed up by a D1x.  Quoted from an unknown source by a fellow planeteer, "Never get rid of a working D1x." I've got to agree.

Film: N90s, F3, F100, F4s, C330s. A few lenses.

Why film photography? I like shooting with the equipment. 6x6 Velvia slides from a C330 have an appeal all their own.

Why automated 35mm/Digital cameras? Event photography is about capturing moments. It often requires quick response. Well done automaton can be your friend or your enemy. It all depends on knowing what it can and can't do. "A man's got to know his (camera's) limitations." paraphrasing Dirty Harry...

A great looking camera, I heard of these but never touched one. Some film shots would be great to see.
