l was looking through some old photos, and found my favorite image taken with the 85 1.4D. l didn't keep this lens long. lt was too big,heavy, and image quality at 1.4 was bad. Later l ended up buying the 85 1.8D and am much happier with it. Wish l would have bought the 1.8 first-would have saved alot of $$$$. The one thing l miss about the 1.4D is rounded aperture blades. The 1.8D is Nikon's only AF 85 that doesn't have them.
