A fine day for our 18th day of 'isolation'... we started 18th march.. one day before the whole country went into lockdown. I did go for a walk around the block a cou ple of days ago.. but confined to baracks mostly... had a couple of beers remotely with a mate via skype this afternoon.

Who said that staying @home due to COVID-19 cannot be exciting...
With two "live" safaris from the African Bush daily, there is never a dull moment.

Here's a lilly from our garden. We still have a while before it blooms so in real life it is all green. I used my IR converted D80 for this image.

A few more ships as seen from our kitchen in the distance. In the meantime there are 5 cruise ships at anchor off our coast-line.
Apparently they off-loaded non-essential crew in the Port of Rotterdam and thereafter were required to leave the harbour.

Peter, I looked it up on the internet... the vessels name is Boka Vanguard, a semi-submersible heavy transport vessel (part of the Royal Boskalis Group of Companies fleet). It was transporting some sort of huge construction in a northbound direction when I took the photo. Lots of images on the internet for additional details.

Peter / Mark,
I just saw this interesting article...
Link: https://www.projectc...ay/?gdpr=accept
Very interesting read, Herman.
Open-net fish farms are very controversial on Canada's West Coast - mainly for escapes and introducing diseases among the native salmon population. They're now being gradually phased out.
The structure in that article is massive, compared to the typical west coast salmon farm. I'd be curious as to how the fish are contained.
