Today, while shooting a group of pencils, I noticed that my new Nikon® GP-1 GPS unit has no LCD screen.

Thinking; I thought, "What good is that." I then threw it away.

Pencil Delivery

Recently, I discovered that companies will deliver large pencil orders. One of mine arrived today, and right away I set about documenting each pencil with its own photograph.

My insurance agent insists on a photographic record for insurance purposes!

Blurry Pencils

Today while photographing a pencil on the left corner of my table, I noticed that a slow shutter speed takes longer than a fast shutter speed.

That explains why many of my pencil shots are blurry.

Which lens?

Today, I thought about which lens might be better for photography. At first, I thought maybe a wide-angle would be best. Then, I thought a telephoto would be better.

My head hurt so I stopped thinking about it.

Lights, Camera, Memory Cards

Today, when I took a picture of a pencil on my table, I noticed that a small light on the back of the camera comes on while it is writing the image to the memory card.

I assume this light is to remind me that I can find the image there later.

Battery discharge rate

Today, while I was looking at my camera's LCD control panel, I saw the battery charge drop by one notch.

Since I was concerned that the battery might become discharged, I turned the camera off.

Smudged

While sitting at my table I observed that my camera's UV filter had a smudge. So, using my hand and a soft lintless cloth I removed the smudge.

I then noticed that my camera was more atttractive without the smudge.

Photo Opportunity Missed

Today, at 3:00 pm, I used my hand to pick up my camera from the table. I looked for a subject and found none.

I then returned my camera to a different part of the table, nearer the pencils.
