I am just loving having this setup in my living room.  My wife can't say anything because I am in the middle  of a project!  And, this is the BENEFIT!!!  I get to sneak in my own stuff when I am done.

:D

Thanks, Dennis.

Nice image, Art.

Looks like you place it on some type of reflective surface?

Mark,

I have these large sheets of shiny paper that are left over from a publishing job.   I took about 50 lbs worth off the printers hands, they were headed for the recycle.  I used them as back drops.  Yes, they have a gloss coating.

I just purchased some very cheap cotton queen sized bed sheets in white, will experiment with those too.  Going out tonight to by some more large sheets of white foam board.  They are awesome for directing light onto a subject.

If you want to see the setup I use, go to the Private Members Forum... follow this link:

The first and second picture are of my Light Tent.  You can see the paper scrolled down and the metal part sitting on it. Does the job.  Bulk packages of Paper Towels from CostCo are underneath holding it all up! I have a plastic carry basket on the paper towels adjust the height and add some stiffness for the parts to sit on.  A very expensive studio!

I just ordered some more light from Amazon, should have it next week.

- I have some very bright, daylite LED lights I want to try

and a Cowboy light stand.... $70 .... worth a try.
