You may have seen my Grizzly images in the Coolpix Forum, taken safely from a distance.  My brother Gordon (Islander) likes to get up close and personal.  lol   Taken from almost a 1/4 mile away and hand held.

I can row faster than a Griz can swim!  What's the problem?

See those big rocks up at the top of the beach?  That's where it was for this shot.

I was a qualified small boat officer, served in the US Navy far and wide but when it comes to me testing how fast a grizzly bear can swim I am with the others I'll pass!     Unless I am on a destroyer then I feel reasonably  safe!   :P  ;)

Just messing with you great shot well done.

Gordon, you're a braver man than I am.  Nice shot, but I'm with Ed and Jim on this one.  I have no interest in finding out how fast a Grizzly can swim.  :o
