Fuji XT3 at ISO 51200

12 January 2020 - 04:55 PM

I took a picture of my EDC(Everyday Carry) Taurus 856UL 38 Spl +P Revolver(yes I am a wheel gun guy) due to its matt black finish knowing it would show noise like crazy. Now I had NR set to +1 and LR applied the in camera settings. The first one is not cropped the 2nd one is a 50% crop all in all very pleased with the results.

So info

The XT3 is simply AMAZING!!

05 January 2020 - 06:36 PM

I had this all typed out earlier and my Mac started updating blah forgot I had hit one hour later.

In short I shot JPEG/RAW using one of my favorite slide film profiles Provia, I had it set to +1 sharpening and essentially nothing else. ISO 160 which is base for the XT3 and the 16 f2.8 XF R WR was my lens. I shot between f2.8 and f8 with one set to Acros and yellow filter. These are essentially straight out of the camera resized but LR does apply the lens correction profiles.

All in all this is the fastest and best camera I have ever used, now I have not used the D850, D5 or any of the Z's system cameras but of what I have used this is an amazing camera well built looks great and is fast the AF is so fast it had me just grinning ear to ear.
