Thanks to Arlon for the inspiration. This is one of the lenses that I acquired in the lot of equipment that used to belong to Kevin Fitzpatrick. This lens is one of the last non-AI factory "AI-ed" Nikkors. The serial number dates it to about 1972/73.




My milk door - remember those? Shot at f2.8. I think it needs some paint, eh?

I don't know why but I have always liked the look of the 135mm. I have a pre AI, real old one that's beat all to heck and it's images are exactly the same as the 70 model I have. It's a lens I feel like I should just throw into my kit and take on road trips with me. It is the ONLY old MF lens I'd consider doing that with. It also works really well with the 3T/4T Nikon Diopters..



I like the door image the best.
