I was looking for anything to shoot the first day I got the camera from NPS.
These fries were on the stove! Nothing special, nothing artistic, just wanted to test the lens and camera.

Nice shot. Lots of texture. A food photographer would give you an A+ for the lighting.

Well, no oil added so that is an interesting comment. These are frozen fries, baked in the oven.

Sweet potato fries ... probably fried in the factory! but baked at home! Gotta love McCains. Big company here, wonder if they ship overseas?

No kidding. Years ago, we had an HR person who lived a few doors down. She was high up in the company as well and if my memory serves, spent some time in Australia, then came back. Unfortunately, it has been a while and I forget their name, they moved to a bigger place in the area.
