Went out hoping to shoot Eagles and Swans but the whole coast of the Island is socked in with fog this week.

We had to change tactics and so drove inland a bit to get above the sea fog.

Here are two shots of this wonderful lake, one with the setting moon as the sun rises over the surrounding hills

and the other through the roots of a long fallen tree.

I had been wondering how you managed to avoid all of that fog.  Mystery solved.  Its funny.  Metro Vancouver has been socked in with fog since Tuesday.  Meanwhile, the eastern Fraser Valley has been enjoying sunny skies and near-record high temperatures.  Shows what a difference a few miles can make.  :)
