Using touch screen to set focus point.

l just found this picture on the internet.

Pentax party starts next week.

l've already received my 18-135 weather resistant lens. And the Nikon 6t close up lens fits on it for close up work. My K-5 body should be here next week. And l found a 50mm f/2 from Roberts Camera on Ebay for $22 and free shipping. The 50 is not weather resistant, but a fast prime for that price...why not?

l'm ready for a bike ride

With us being on standard time it gets dark a couple hours after l wake up. When we go up an hour and my days off roll around, l'm going on a bike ride. Haven't rode in about 5 months. l topped off the tire pressure with the hand pump. Then changed the CR2032 battery in my speedometer and programmed the tire size into it. l'm ready! Will have my Canon M50 and kit lens with me.

My new tripod fits here

21 February 2020 - 05:46 AM

lt fits into the rear rack bag. Good if l want to do a long exposure or take a pic of myself with the bike. Actually, the original Backpacker tripod will fit in there but it's a very tight fit. My phone fits in the top tube bag. lf l want to use GPS while riding, l can prop up the lid on the bag. l can carry the Canon M50 in my Lowepro sling passport thrown over my neck and shoulder. Now l'm ready for some warmer rain free days so l can go for a ride. Tired of cold rainy days we've been having.

Wunsche Cemetery

18 February 2020 - 09:01 PM

This tiny cemetery is located between lnterstate 45 and the access road. lt's a good thing the Tamron 16-300 has VR because it was shortly after sunrise with heavy overcast and fog. Even at 800 iso shutter speeds were slow.  Unfortunately the fog wasn't thick enough to show up in the photos. D40, Tamron 16-300.
