I like these with the following comments.
Image 1 - not quite enough fill on camera right.
All images - add just the smallest touch of light so we can see the bottoms of the bottles.

Other than that, they're great images.

Hmmm. I've not seen that, but I'm guessing you have. Any idea what circumstances that happens under??

To get 500WS out of speedlights, I'd need to bundle ~seven speedlights together. Maybe six if they're SB800s. At about $200 a pop used, that's $1200 and that's before buying the triggers. If I were to get the Mitros or Lumopro units with the Odin triggers, it's about $1400. To get 360WS, i still need 4-5 lights.

An XPLOR 600 is about half that and it does TTL and HSS. The Indra 500 is an even grand. I'm watching Mike Kelley's tutorials and he has switched from Einsteins to Profoto B1s when he needs the big lights. I like the Einsteins, but the lack of HSS and TTL makes them less useful for the kind of outdoor portraits I would like to start shooting.

To me, it just doesn't make financial sense to gang speedlights together to make one big light. It's harder to get such a contraption into a softbox, too. Don't get me wrong, McNally is awesome, but I'd rather not deal with the headaches of gangs of speedlights.

Phottix are SOOO close to a blockbuster product with the Indras, I just don't get why they don't fix the issues.

If you really want to keep them, you need 3 copies stored at 3 distinct locations.  2- and 4-gig external drives are getting cheaper every day.

You mean 2TB and 4TB?? I've seen 6TB also but haven't priced them.
