The death of Isak

05 January 2019 - 08:00 PM

In the ski resort of Breckenridge CO, the town commissioned Thomas Dambo to create one of his trolls for the town. It was part of the arts festival and was to stay until the weather had it way with it, or was vandalized. The festival started and people came from all around the town. The news spread the word, and more people came. It was a small hike to get to see Isak Heartstone. His namesake was given to him be the artiest when some of the towns children gave the artiest a heart shape stone, which he placed into Isak. As Isak popularity grew, so did the people that wanted to see him. However, that was Isak undoing. The town folk that live near the trail complained that there was too many people going to see the troll. an emergency concise meeting was held, and Isak was torn down with chainsaws.  Out cry was loud, but Isak is now somewhere, in parts, waiting to see if he'll be put together.

Z6 and 35 1.8S

21 November 2018 - 11:18 PM

These are not the best representation of the images I took. I downloaded the new CNDX, but it has a hard time reading and making simple adjustments. Lightroom won't eve try to read them. Very disappointing. Well, here we go.

I took my grand daughter to have Grinch pancakes at the local IHOP. The 35 is promising.

Nikon Z7 with a Helios 44-2. Last time I will be using Cindys camera. My z6 comes next week. Playing with focus peaking. It would have been sharp, but she was having too much fun dancing in the leaves.
