Getting some practice in before our trip to the Grand Canyon.  My backyard near Richmond, Virginia.  D7000, 17mm, f2.8, iso 400, 30 seconds for each image.  210 images merged using GIMP.

Thanks! It was fun to learn more about using a batch edit from RAW to jpg with Darktable and using layers in GIMP.

Thanks for the kind words. I'm still a bit stressed about getting some good star shots when I'm on vacation. I hate the thought of not having the correct setting for a big batch of images that I won't really have a second chance to shoot.
