Interests:I have been doing this for over forty years. My wife approves and most times goes with me on assignments. I do photojournalism for a media group that has 11 newspapers around the Nashville, TN area. I am a NPS member.

The assignment was to get a magazine cover that showed the event and people at the event. I proposed these 3. I shot this in 1998. I just ran across these.

In 1a, I scouted a previous race and then positioned myself at the bottom of the hill.

For cover 2a, I scouted from the tower and went back during one of the races.

Cover .3, there was a press area and I was there ready to go. The man in the photo stepped in front of me. He is well know in the steeplechase community and had three horses in that race. I kept him and the frame.

Which one do you think was chosen?
