Thanks for the heads-up Art ...looks like plenty of reading... maybe some useful info can be found, I read about someone also comparing/tossing up which way to go 14-24/16-35. Peter

Look forward to seeing your photos. I am hoping to do the same in the spring or when the weather tames a bit. I just love owls, hope to get a picture of a wild one!

This site is sponsored by Nikon, hoping it is a good place to gather info.

Peter, I saw that as well. I purchased a 16-35 and I am very happy with it so far. I will post some pics when I take it outdoors!
